The Newbies Surfing in the Domain of Cyber Security

Almost all of us are aware of the phenomenal growth of the Internet. We visit numerous websites where we are already or easily Vulnerable to the Internet. This gateway has exceptionally opened a new upcoming domain of Cyber-Security. Cyber-security is the field in which today's new era is going to be the so-called upcoming Cyber-War.

After reading such frequent words there’s a spark in our brain. Hacker? Yes, a Hacker is the one who accesses one’s device without the consent of the victim. Now how do hackers perform such brilliant techniques to get access to our data? There are multiple techniques and tasks to perform the attack. Some of them are:-

  • Clickjacking Attacks
  • Virus, Trojan, etc
  • Phishing
  • Denial of Service(DoS\DDoS)

Now let us learn about the Types of Hackers. Obviously, We need someone to prevent such attacks so let’s learn about them.
  1. Black Hat Hackers:- These are the ones that are mostly common hackers related to recent cybercrime news. All the Unethical(Illegal) activities are performed by these people.
  2. White Hat Hackers:-These are Cybersecurity experts who help the government and organizations by performing penetration testing and finding loopholes(Bugs) .
  3. Gray Hat Hacker:-These are the ones who can perform both the tasks. They are the masters of their own will.

Now here was the uprising of Cyber-Crime. The period and the revolution of which no one could expect where all people were in their homes. Yes, Covid . The period when all of us were most active participants of all time surfing the internet as a game was during the pandemic. At that duration, our country felt the need and effectiveness of cyber-security. A recent survey said that in INDIA, a Cybersecurity analyst is needed. There were 5 lakh job opportunities open but still only 1500 were filled. This was the number for 2019-2020 and to date, only 50,000 people have filled out the form. Just think of the GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY you can grab in these fields.


Note: As per the officials the employees who were laid off in the IT sector were programmers but to date, none of the Tech-Giants have laid off a Cyber-Security Analyst.


Let’s move on to some cool tips to feel more protected.
  • Never open any anonymous link. If you wish to open it do check it on websites like VirusTotal which scans the link, files, and pdf which tell you about any malicious activity going to happen.
  • You can Encrypt or Decrypt a series of codes and words using the BASE64 website.
  • You can track your emails , their location, and IP address on websites like IP2 location.
